Kids will be kids!

We have been very adventurous the last month or so.  We had an amazing time in Atlantic City, gambling and walking on the Boardwalk.  I would say its like a Las Vegas outlet, but on the beach.  Restaurants are a lot cheaper and the gambling tables weren't as high a limit unlike Vegas (which i mean u can bet lower at more tables than Vegas but there is a lot of high limit tables as well). We were at a roulette table and a guy dropped two grand in ten minutes. So it still has the atmosphere, but us not having all the money in the world think it a little bit more affordable.  The weekend John's parents came out, we also ventured out to Freeport, NJ (on the shore) which was nice because we visited John's Godparents.  We had a lovely dinner and fun with people that I have never met.  So much fun that we didn't get home until about 1:30.  Rome was a trooper and fell asleep during dinner so we got to have a couple of drinks and enjoy ourselves!  This weekend we went to downtown Philly (which is only a 15 min train ride from our house) and decided to go to a farmers' market.  Yet, it ended up being an art festival at Rittenhouse Square.  So we hung out, enjoyed the art and went to an early lunch.  John had his favorite, Fried Chicken and Waffles.  Then we shopped for  a little bit, then enjoyed a coffee while Rome took a nap. We decided to get dinner later on in the evening at a contemporary Indian restaurant--called Bindi.  Rome loves rice so we got him rice with exotic spices....And 5 mins into it, he threw up everywhere!  (When I mean everywhere,  I mean everywhere).   Sometimes when he tries new things he doesn't react good to new spices.  The staff, however, was super nice so that made it easier.  We decided to leave because who likes to eat dinner when your child throws up all over you, not me!  He has done this on 2 other occasions, once at Fratellos (San Clemente) but I think at that time, he had the flu.  The other time, at True Food Kitchen (Newport Beach--if you haven't tried it, John loves it.)  There, he was trying a unique Thai spice, but,I can't specifically remember the name of it.  I have to remind myself that being 1 of 11, that we did this to my Mom more then three times.  LOL. I'll have to ask her,  but I'm sure we all know the answer. Well, goodnight and enjoy your Sunday evening.  Until next time,  this is Bex signing out. XOXO.
